Most of people have a 3 button mouse at home. You think you can only click and wheel? Have you ever though about adding combos? This is a sample of how you can configure your 3 button mouse. You can add a lot of function if you want, or use different actions depending on the current application.

A button or combo per line
- Left click
- Right click
- Wheel up
- Wheel down
- Adjust sound card volume
- Adjust media player volume
- Open a notepad
- Open a calculator
- Get to beginning (or browser back)
- Go to end (or browser forward)

I didn't change the purpose of the left and right button and the wheel. But if you are configuring your second mice you can use them to control your media player for example.

[edit] Middle button + Left button
These button pressed together open a notepad.
[edit] Middle button + Right button
These button pressed together open a calculator.
[edit] Left button + Wheel up or down
Pressing the left button allow you to adjust the volume of your sound card, everywhere (while working, in games, etc...).

Pressing the middle button and the wheel down simulates a keypress of the key [end], to get to the end of a web page for example.
